DJI Mavic 3 Pro | Meet the fleet

DJI Mavic 3 Pro | Meet the fleet

The DJI Mavic 3 Pro is a game-changer in the world of aerial photography and videography, offering a range of camera options to suit diverse creative needs from one drone. In this blog post, we will explore and compare the key features of the three cameras available for the Mavic 3 Pro: the Hasselblad camera, the Medium Tele camera, and the Tele camera. By understanding the capabilities of each camera, you can see how this drone can benefit your production needs.

Hasselblad Camera

The Hasselblad camera, equipped with a 4/3 CMOS sensor, is the flagship camera option for the Mavic 3 Pro. With a 24mm equivalent focal length and a variable aperture of f/2.8 to f/11, it offers versatility in different lighting conditions. The 20 MP resolution ensures detailed stills and impressive 5.1k 10-bit D-log video recordings. With a native dynamic range of up to 12.8 stops, this camera delivers unforgettable image details.

Medium Tele Camera:

The Medium Tele camera features a 1/1.3" CMOS sensor and offers a 70mm equivalent focal length. With a fixed aperture of f/2.8 and a resolution of 48 MP for photos and 4k 10-bit D-Log M videos, it brings depth and focus compression to highlight subjects and create visually striking compositions. The 3x optical zoom enhances creative possibilities by being able to capture distant subjects with precision.

Tele Camera

The Tele camera, equipped with a 1/2" CMOS sensor, is designed for long-range capture. With a 166mm equivalent focal length, a fixed aperture of f/3.4, and a resolution of 12 MP, this camera option delivers high-quality 4K/60fps videos and detailed photos. The 7x optical zoom provides versatility in framing shots, allowing users to immerse themselves in rich image details. The wider aperture of f/3.4 enables better performance in low-light conditions compared to the Mavic 3, ensuring exceptional results even when capturing subjects at a distance.

The DJI Mavic 3 Pro offers three remarkable camera options to cater to different photography and videography needs. The Hasselblad camera excels in image quality, color accuracy, and dynamic range, providing professional creators with exceptional results. The Medium Tele camera compresses depth of field, highlighting subjects and creating visually captivating compositions. The Tele camera offers long-range capabilities, allowing users to capture distant subjects with high resolution and excellent zoom capabilities. Each camera option brings unique features and advantages to the Mavic 3 Pro, ensuring that creativity can be captured to its full potential and from new perspectives.
